Pausing and resuming billing

An owner can pause billing from the Billing page, and resume it there whenever they like.

What pausing actually does

It stops the money — and it suspends access for the whole organisation. This is the part worth understanding before you click it: pausing is not a billing-only action, and your team will notice immediately.

What it does not do

Nothing is deleted. Nobody is removed from the organisation, nobody loses their role, and no data goes anywhere.

When you resume, everyone gets back in on their own. There is no re-inviting and no re-configuring.

When to use it

A genuine gap — a seasonal shutdown, a project between phases. If you just want to spend less, changing licence quantities or moving to yearly is usually the better lever.

Who can do it

The owner, and only the owner. If your organisation is paused and you are not the owner, you cannot lift it yourself.
