Reporting and your GHG statement
Your inventory by scope and category, the gaps in it, and how you are tracking against a reduction target.
Open Reporting once you have entries in. Everything here is calculated from what you have recorded — nothing is illustrative.
The GHG statement
Your inventory for a financial year: totals by scope, broken down by category, with the entries behind each line. This is the page to open when someone asks what your emissions were. Displayed in tonnes CO₂e; ETP stores kilograms and converts for display, so rounding never compounds.
Scope 3 breakdown
Scope 3 is usually the largest and least even part of an inventory, so it gets its own view — the nine categories ranked, so you can see which one actually drives your footprint.
Data quality
Data Quality answers the question the statement cannot: what is missing. It shows which categories have entries, which are empty, and where the evidence behind a number is weak. A total built from four of fifteen categories is not a footprint, and this is the page that says so.
For a category you have deliberately decided not to calculate, record a screening decision with your reasoning. It is the difference between "not applicable to us, here is why" and an unexplained gap — and an assessor will ask.
Targets and reporting inputs
Under Benchmarks you can record your organisation's revenue and output units for a year, which gives you intensity figures — emissions per dollar, per unit — rather than a raw total that moves whenever you grow.
You can also set a reduction target: a base year, a target year, and a percentage. ETP freezes the base year total when you create the target, so later edits to historical data cannot quietly move your goalposts. You need entries in the base year before a target can be created.
Saved and scheduled exports
Any report on this page can be saved as a scheduled export and emailed monthly, quarterly or annually — to your board, your assurer, anyone. They do not need an ETP login; the file arrives attached, labelled with the period and the Scope 2 basis it was prepared on. Managers and owners create them; everyone can see the table.
Two things worth knowing before you set one up. A schedule can follow the current financial year or be pinned to one — pin it when you are re-sending a period that has already been filed. And a run with nothing to report is skipped rather than sent, because a file of zeros landing in a board inbox reads as a result rather than as missing data. The skip is recorded either way, so the delivery history shows it as a gap rather than as silence.
What is not here
Benchmarks compare you against your own history and targets. There is no peer or sector median comparison — we do not hold a dataset that would make one honest.
