Getting started
Registering creates your organisation and makes you its owner. Verify your email, buy licences, then invite your team.
Setting up takes about ten minutes, and the order matters more than you would expect.
1. Register
Registering creates your organisation and makes you its owner, in one step. You do not create an organisation separately — it comes with the account, along with the industry details you pick during sign-up.
The person who registers holds billing. If that should be someone else in your business, have them register instead — an existing member can never be promoted to owner later (see Roles and permissions).
2. Verify your email
We email you a code to confirm the address. See Verifying your email.
3. Buy your licences
Do this before inviting anyone. Every invitation consumes a licence for the role you are inviting into, so an owner with no licences cannot add a single person. See Licences and seats.
4. Invite your team
Open Team, pick a role for each person, and send. See Inviting your team.
5. Check your organisation profile
Open Organisation to add your logo, address and contact details. See Your organisation profile.
6. Add your sites, then start recording
Activity data is recorded against a site, so add those first under Sites & Facilities. Then open Emissions and start entering. See Recording your emissions.
What you can do today
Record emissions across Scope 1, 2 and 3; manage sites; look up emission factors; import activity data from CSV; check data quality; and produce a GHG statement with targets. Alongside that: set up your organisation, manage your team and their roles, buy and assign licences, and handle billing and invoices.
If you were expecting something specific and cannot find it, open the support assistant and ask. We would rather tell you plainly than have you hunt for it.
Still stuck? Open the support assistant in the bottom-right corner and we'll take it from there.
